My name is Alex, and I am an accredited Bit Fitter based in the Swan Valley, Western Australia.

Perth born and raised, I’ve always been heavily involved with horses. Growing up with Arabians, and more recently getting much more interested in Dressage.

My own Warmblood mare, Charli, was always tricky in the mouth from the day she was broken in. She really sparked my interest in the world of bit fitting. While trying to make her as comfortable as I could, I learn a lot and collected a few bits along the way!

In 2023, I decided to take this a step further and undertook the Bit Bank Australia Accredited Bitting Specialist course. I have also been heavily involved in the production and fitting of bridles for a number of years, and I believe this experience pairs perfectly with bit fitting.

I find it so rewarding taking a horse unsure or uncomfortable in their bit to a horse who is willing, soft, and confident.
